Print settings: 0.10–0.12 mm layers, 100% infill, 3+ walls, ~40 mm/s. Flat panels print standing upright. Light it from behind, warm LEDs look best.

Bases & mounts: open the 3D · Build tab, add boxes, cylinders, rings and more around your lithophane, cut holes, Merge, and everything exports together as one print file.

Crop: open the Photo tab and drag a box over the picture, double-click clears it. Multiple photos? Click a thumbnail (or a side slot) to select it, the Adjust sliders and Photo view always follow the selected photo.

Push Black up until shadows keep detail; pull White down until bright areas aren’t washed out. Midtones > 1 brightens faces.

Frame slides the photo inside the outline, use it when a shape crops your subject (Circle, Heart, Lamp, Box and Ball trim to a square). Flat and Oval already follow the photo’s own proportions, so there is nothing to trim and the sliders stay inert.
