Privacy Policy
EverLit (geteverlit.com) is a browser-based lithophane studio operated by Lagniappe Ventures Ltd, a Nevada series limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never touch. The short version: your photos never leave your device.
Your photos
Everything you do in the EverLit studio, from adding a photo to exporting an STL or 3MF file, happens on your device, in your browser or in the downloaded app. Your photos are processed on-device. We do not upload, store, view, or analyze your photos or the models you create, and there is no account to sign up for.
Information we collect
- Optional usage statistics. Off unless you turn it on. If you do, the studio sends anonymous counts and categories (for example, which shape was used or whether an export succeeded) along with a random install ID and the app version. These events never include file names, photo data, your email, or your license details. Our server rebuilds every event from a fixed list of allowed fields and drops anything else. You can turn sharing off at any time with the "Usage sharing" button in the studio, and sending stops immediately.
- Your email address, if you give it to us. If you sign up for product updates or the launch list on geteverlit.com, the form sends your email address to our server (POST /api/notify). We store the address, which form you used, the edition you said you were interested in (if any), the date, and your approximate country as reported by our hosting provider. We use it only to send occasional EverLit news. We do not sell or share it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Purchase information. Paid editions are sold through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing address or country, and payment details to process your order. We receive your name, email, order details, and license details so we can deliver and support your purchase. We never see or store your full card number.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Local storage on your device
The studio uses your browser's local storage to remember preferences, such as whether you have seen the guided tour and your usage-sharing choice, and to keep a local log of usage events you can review yourself. This data stays on your device. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
How we use information
- To deliver your purchase and license and support you afterward
- To send product updates you asked for
- To understand, in aggregate, which features are used so we can improve EverLit
- To keep the site secure and working
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Lemon Squeezy, to process payments, taxes, refunds, and license keys. Their handling of your data is covered by the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare, to host the site and store update sign-ups and usage events.
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Update sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Order records are kept as long as needed to support your license and meet tax and accounting rules. Anonymous usage statistics are kept in aggregate.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you email. Depending on where you live, including California and the EU/UK, you may have additional rights under local law. Email info@lvltdllc.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
EverLit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
